There is a moment each year when the High Holidays stop feeling like something on the calendar and begin to feel close.
Join us on Saturday, September 5 at 8:00 PM for a candlelit Leil Selichot—an intimate evening of music, reflection, and return as we begin to turn our hearts toward the new year.
Our Music Director, Ari Joshua, will teach some of the melodies that will carry us through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, giving us a chance to hear them, sing them, and let them become familiar before the holidays arrive. Together, we’ll mark the changing season by dressing our Torah in its white High Holiday mantle—a simple ritual that transforms the room and reminds us that something sacred is approaching.
In the glow of candlelight, we’ll sing, reflect, and begin the inner work of the season together.
