About the event
If you love to cook, or eat, or meet new friends, this is the perfect event for you. Judaism has a deep tradition of gathering on the Sabbath to break bread, welcome guest, and greet the Sabbath bride. Once a month, we will have a Shabbat dinner in a different neighborhood around the sound, hosted by a Masa Seattle member, who will select the menu. This month, we will be cooking with Rabbi Sydney's family at Casa de Danziger (Rabbi Sydney's home) and making authentic mexican cuisine. Rabbi Sydney is from New Mexico and also just returned from a trip to Baja and will be teaching you how to make Margherita's and authentic chips and salsa.
