The Megillah Murders

Purim is one of the most joyous and raucus holidays in the Jewish calendar. We dress up in costumes, drink copious amounts of alcohol, read from the megillah (the scroll containing the Book of Esther) and do a comical retelling of the Purim story, called a "schpiel." This year, we will all participate in a mystery dinner theater to discover "who killed Vashti?" In this interactive "whodunnit" we will bring the ancient persian characters of Esther, Mordechai, Haman and Achashverosh to life as we try to discover who is responsible for the deposed Queen Vashti's death. There will be a costume contest, a full bar, food, and a lot of fun. We LOVE Purim at Masa Seattle. Come and see why.
