What We Do

No single community can be all things to all people. At Masa Seattle, we focus on what we feel is truly important: helping people live better lives through Judaism. As part of a curated community of kindness, we punctuate our weeks, months and years with sacred Jewish rituals and mitzvot and work to repair our broken world through learning and action.

Celebrate Jewish Time

We believe time, rather than space, is sacred. Your time is a precious and limited resource. We are very intentional with how and when we mark sacred time. With every Shabbat and holiday we celebrate together, we strive to create

opportunities for learning, inspiration and personal growth.

Create Connection

Creating deep and meaningful connections is "baked-in" to everything we do. Your Jewish journey should not be a solitary one. We organize our gatherings in a very intentional way so new faces quickly become old friends. If you arrive alone, you will leave feeling seen and known.

Repair the World

As God's partner in creation, we all are hard-wired to seek meaning and purpose. Our community harnesses this power for good through regular volunteer opportunities. Come be a part of a motivated and mobilized community that cares.

Learn

Jewish learning is a lifelong journey. We believe we all have something to learn and something to teach. We work to make Jewish wisdom accessible, experiential and fun in an absolutely judgement-free space. Regardless of your Jewish background, we want to learn with you.
